2012 Fantasy Football Player Rankings: Week 8
Week seven was an easy week to make NFL picks, and it turned out to be a good week to make fantasy football calls, too. I finished in the top-10 (#9) at fantasypros.com for the second time in 2012, bringing my overall standing in at #12 overall out of about 97 fantasy experts.
My aim like always is to keep that momentum going, while giving you some great start/sit advice via my fantasy rankings. Sometimes I’ll rank a guy here or there way higher than normal to take a shot at a crazy week, but for the most part what you see in my weekly rankings are how I’d start these guys against the competition.
As you can see, Matthew Stafford, Calvin Johnson, Trent Richardson, Jermichael Finley and Larry Fitzgerald (among others) have fallen way out of favor with me due to countless soft showings. I’m sure each of them can turn it around, but I’m not vouching for any of them this week. You still probably have to start them this week, but you can’t expect the world due to their sluggish ways at the moment – not to mention some tough matchups.
With that said, it’s on to my week 8 fantasy football player rankings:
