2012 NFL Draft Rumors | Kendall Wright Getting 3rd Round Grades?
Baylor wide receiver Kendall Wright has long been regarded as an elite prospect that could go as early as the middle of the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft.
That outlook on his immediate future could be changing.
According to Pro Football Weekly, Wright has been receiving a third-round grade from “a number of teams” after what is being regarded as an “unimpressive offseason”.
Despite being hyped up as a lock to be picked in the first round, many NFL teams see Wright as more of a third-rounder due to poor work ethic, an offseason weight gain, and a poor 40 time at the combine.
Still, Wright has great game speed and is a naturally gifted receiver. As long as his new coaching staff can get him to commit and work hard, he’ll be well worth a first-round selection.
