Ahmad Bradshaw Expected to Miss Week 11

bradshaw

According to Mike Garafolo of the Newark Star-Ledger, New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw is not expected to play in Week 11. Early reports are that he should be ready for Week 12.

Brandon Jacobs will continue to start in his place, with D.J. Ware operating as the top backup.

Fantasy Analysis

This is good news for Brandon Jacobs owners as he will get the start on Sunday. Jacobs hasn’t exactly lit it up the last two weeks, with only 127 yards on 36 carries. Although, this week it could get a lot better when they face the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles are giving up the 6th most points to fantasy running backs this year. Consider Jacobs a solid No. 2 running back for week 11.

If you’re looking for a deeper sleeper, consider D.J. Ware. Last week Ware had nine total touches for 68 yards. I don’t expect this game to be close and Ware will get enough touches to put up decent numbers. The only chance you will start Ware this week is if you are in a deep league and you need a Flex play.
