Beanie Wells Leaves Game with Knee Injury

Fantasy Football

According to Rotoworld.com, Arizona Cardinals running back Beanie Wells left the game against Pittsburgh early on Sunday.

Wells injury seemed to be a sprained right knee in which he had surgery on over a season ago.

We’re unsure as to what the status of Wells is, but it’s quite possible that he misses extended time.

Fantasy Analysis

This isn’t good news for Wells owners in terms of fantasy football.

Look for LaRod Stephens-Howling and, second year running back out of Kentucky, Alfonso Smith to see more carries in Wells’ absence.

Obviously neither are big name players, but they are both worth a look.

We’ll report more information on Wells when it comes in.
