Ben Roethlisberger Entering NFL Playoffs Hurt?

Pittsburgh Steelers

According to Ed Bouchette via Twitter, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger suffered a setback in week 17’s win over the Cleveland Browns. Big Ben does not know how he aggravated his ankle injury, but he is expected to play this Sunday in the first round of the playoffs against the Denver Broncos.

Some are questioning if in fact Roethlisberger did suffer a setback or if he is just trying to create a story for the media. He was seen limping in the locker room after Wednesday’s practice, but it shouldn’t be an issue at least for this weeks game.

Fantasy Analysis

If you are playing in one of those quirky NFL playoffs fantasy leagues, feel free to roll with Roethlisberger this week, but there are better options out there. Denver was middle of the pack in the NFL in passing yards allowed during the regular season, so Roethlisberger should have a decent game.
