Brandon Marshall Endorsing Matt Flynn as Next Dolphins Quarterback?

2010 Fantasy Football

A lot of rumors and reports have been flying around regarding the future of the Miami Dolphins quarterback situation. While analysts won’t stop speculating anytime soon, Dolphins star wide receiver Brandon Marshall felt like he’d join in on the fun, according to NFL.com.

In fact, Marshall has reportedly reached out to impending free agent quarterback Matt Flynn of the Green Bay Packers, saying, “Matt is available,” Marshall said. “We’ve talked. I reached out to him.”

Not only did Marshall talk to Flynn, but he openly admitted to doing so. If that’s not a ringing endorsement, we’re not sure what is.

There was already ongoing speculation that Flynn could follow former Packers’ offensive coordinator Joe Philbin (Miami’s new head coach) to the Dolphins, but with Marshall opening up about his verbal “teaming up” with Flynn, thing just got real.

With many teams vying for Flynn’s services and willing to pay big money, this story doesn’t look to be coming to an end anytime soon, however.
