Buccaneers Land New Head Coach in Greg Schiano

Can Josh Freeman get the Bucs to the playoffs in 2013?
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Greg Schiano has been hired to be the next Head Coach for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bucs fired head coach Raheem Morris after the season, after a disappointing 4-12 season when the team looked to have gave up.
This move came out of nowhere, as the Bucs were reported to be narrowing down their choice to Carolina Panthers Offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinski, or recently fired head coach of Texas A&M Mike Sherman.
Schiano was the head coach of the Rutgers Scarlet Nights from 2001-2011 and had a record of 68-67, including a record of 5-1 in bowl games. He turned around a Rutgers school that was in the bottom of the league in the Big East conference, and hadn’t been to a bowl game since 1978.
He is more known for his coaching skills than his recruiting ability and with the Big East’s status unknown for the future, it seems like a great fit for both Schiano and Tampa Bay.
