Buccaneers May Trade Up To Get Richardson At Third Overall

Trent Richardson 2011

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers on high on running back Trent Richardson, that they may be willing to trade up two spots from No. 5, to the No. 3 pick held by the Minnesota Vikings.

According to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, the Buccaneers would be willing to trade up to No. 3 to ensure they get Richardson, since it appears that the Cleveland Browns would take him at No. 4. This would make the Browns likely choosing between either cornerback Morris Claiborne or tackle Matt Kalil, and both of those players are the top two on the Vikings draft board.

After the Indianapolis Colts and Washington Redskins take Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III in the top two picks, respectively, the next few picks are really going to shape the way the rest of the top ten plays out.
