Vincent Brown Out up to 8 Weeks With Broken Ankle

v brown san diego

The San Diego Chargers just got a little less explosive on offense. According to Kevin Acee via Twitter, second-year wide receiver Vincent Brown sustained a broken ankle in Saturday night’s preseason game versus the Dallas Cowboys, and will be sidelined up to eight weeks.

Depending on how well Brown heals, he could potentially miss even more time. However, at the moment, he’s expected to miss the remainder of the preseason, and could return to the field as early as week five.

Eddie Royal will man the slot with Brown out, while Robert Meachem and Malcom Floyd will continue to lineup outside as the starters in two wide receiver sets.

Fantasy Analysis

This is a huge blow to Brown’s promising fantasy stock. He was quietly rising up draft boards all summer, and his performance in preseason action was good enough to have many think he’d leap-frog Royal for slot duties. Brown could still be a big part of the Chargers’ passing offense upon his return this season, but he’s now a major draft risk and should be plummeting down boards.

Hey there would you mind stating which blog platform you’re using? I’m planning to start my own blog in the near future but I’m having a hard time deciding between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something unique. P.S Apologies for getting off-topic but I had to ask!

I was just searching for this info for a while. After six hours of continuous Googleing, at last I got it in your web site. I wonder what is the Google’s problem that doesn’t rank this type of informative websites closer to the top. Generally the top websites are full of garbage.
