Chicago’s Greg Olsen Reportedly on Trading Block

Greg Olsen Bears

According to the Chicago Tribune, the Chicago Bears have given star tight end Greg Olsen the go ahead to search out potential trade options with other NFL teams.

Entering a contract year and not a pivotal piece of Chicago’s offense, Olsen is seeking a more prominent role and a potentially lucrative contract offer.

Fantasy Analysis

Olsen has done very little worth noting since Mike Martz (aka, tight end killer) came to Chicago, and he’s making the right decision by trying to get out while the getting is good.

Definitely talented and athletic, Olsen won’t find it to be too difficult to find a team that will be interested in his services. However, finding a team that will give the Bears what they want, on top of giving Olsen the contract he desires, will be a completely different story.
