Fantasy Stock Watch: Ted Ginn Jr. Dropping Chances in Preseason

The San Francisco 49ers first team offense looked solid against the Minnesota Vikings, marching down the field and scoring a touchdown, and performing adequately on their other possessions.

Ted Ginn Jr., who was acquired in a trade with the Miami Dolphins, had ample opportunities to make an impression, ruining chances to impress the coaching staff in the early going against the Vikings.

The expected slot receiver dropped two catchable passes before hauling in two receptions for 65 yards, one going for 60 yards on a beautiful bomb by third string quarterback Nate Davis.

Ginn’s two drops and one impressive catch continued to display his inconsistency, and won’t ensure any substantial role in San Francisco’s offense.
