Jacksonville Jaguars Unveil New Logo

For the first time in the 18-year history of the club, the Jacksonville Jaguars are changing their team logo.
The team called a press conference Tuesday to unveil the new look, which is basically just an updated version of the old one.
The same teal/brown look is in play here, with the somewhat strange-looking teal tongue/nose/eye combo. The team is also set to reveal new uniforms for next season sometime around the NFL Draft, coming in April.
The Jaguars’ new owner, Shad Khan, said during the press conference that the new look represents “a new symbol for a new generation.” Hopefully by this, he means a new generation in which the team will stop completely whiffing on high draft picks. But, you never know.
Jacksonville also released a secondary logo, with the same Jaguar head inside of a shield, to pay homage to the city’s military history.
Let’s hope this means brighter days are ahead for the Jaguars, who went 2-14 last season and, yes, still have Blaine Gabbert.
