Jaguars Sign Marcedes Lewis to Long-Term Deal

Marcedes Lewis 2011

According to Vito Stellino via Twitter, the Jacksonville Jaguars have signed tight end Marcedes Lewis to a five-year deal. Lewis will reportedly make roughly $35 million over the five-year deal, along with $18 million guaranteed.

Fantasy Analysis

It’s good to get Lewis locked in, as he’s a big target and is coming off of an impressive 10-touchdown season in 2010. However, it was his first season with more than two scores in his career, and he’s battled injuries and inconsistency since he entered the league. We’re skeptical of his ability to come anywhere close to his 2010 production.
