NFL Report | Steve Smith Headed Out of Carolina?
According to ESPN.com, Carolina Panthers star receiver Steve Smith “wants out” of Carolina, and the Carolina front office is expected to “work with him” on a potential trade.
We haven’t heard it straight from Smith or the Panthers, but according to ProFootballWeekly.com, Smith had already cleaned out his locker and personal luxury suite at the Panthers’ team stadium. That information on it’s own doesn’t mean Smith is done in Carolina, but after up and down years with inconsistent quarterbacks and mixed results in the win column, the writing is officially on the wall.
It’s only a matter of time before its on paper and Smith is headed to a contender.
