NFL Rumors: Matt Leinart Done as the Starter in Arizona? 

According to NFL.com’s Jason La Canfora via Twitter, the Arizona Cardinals have demoted Matt Leinart, and will be starting Derek Anderson for their third preseason game.

This wouldn’t be a huge deal, but considering most teams view their starting lineups for the third preseason game as the lineups that will start for the season openers, this holds a lot of weight.

Fantasy Dish: Leinart is out, and DA is in, but we’re not really pumping this up for a knee-jerk reaction. With this news, along with Larry Fitzgerald still nursing a sprained MCL, things are not looking up for the Cardinals offense.
