Packers Greg Jennings is Inactive for Tonight’s Game

Green Bay Packers v Seattle Seahawks

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN via twitter, Green Bay Packers Wide Receiver Greg Jennings (groin) is out for tonight’s game against the Chicago Bears. It’s not a huge shock that Jennings is declared inactive, as he was listed as doubtful for the game and was working with a short week after Sunday’s late game in Week 1.

Green Bay will be looking to get Jennings back after 11 days of rest for next weeks game versus the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football. Consider his day-to-day for Monday’s game.

Fantasy Analysis

With Jennings out, James Jones will get the start opposite of Jordy Nelson. Jones, Nelson and Randall Cobb should see a lot more looks from Aaron Rodgers tonight. Nelson should be starting in standard leagues regardless, while Cobb will be a great flex play this week. Jones on the other hand, ought to be  a low-end No. 2 WR, with a decent match-up against the Chicago Bears.
