According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the Pittsburgh Steelers “would like” to trade back-up quarterback Dennis Dixon.
The team reportedly has a log-jam at quarterback, and can’t decide between reliable veteran Charlie Batch and the young, athletic Dixon.

Dixon hasn’t really prove to this point that he’s a reliable NFL starter, so it’s going to be difficult for Pittsburgh to get a suitor this late in the game; much less get something valuable in return for Dixon. With that being said, Dixon is still an athletic quarterback with some solid, untapped potential. In the right system, he could be very interesting. Look for the Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, and Washington Redskins to at least sniff around.
