Raiders Hire Dennis Allen as New Head Coach

Oakland Raiders
According to Jay Glazer via Twitter, the Oakland Raiders have hired Dennis Allen as their new head coach. Allen is the second youngest head coach in the NFL at 39 years old.Allen was the defensive coordinator for the Denver Broncos last season and was previously the New Orleans Saints secondary coach. Denver was dead last in the NFL in points per game and yards allowed per game in 2010 before Allen took over. He was able to bring those rankings way up and their defense was one of the reasons they made the playoffs this season.

This is a great hire by new GM Reggie McKenzie, as they look for a fresh start in Oakland.

This appears like this should really become a fantastic event. Regarding the location of the event and to avoid confusion, as being a extended time resident of the area, there is not any “Santiago Creek Park”. Santiago Creek runs by way of Hart Park (some relation to “Pappy”?) which happens to be during the Town of Orange, to the border of Santa Ana. Could we get this location confirmed?
