Rex Grossman Staying With Washington Redskins?
According to Rich Campbell via Twitter, Washington Redskins quarterback Rex Grossman admitted he expects to be back with the team in 2011.
Whether that means he’s a starter again remains to be determined, but in an interview, Grossman said, “I’m assuming that’s what’s going to happen”.

Grossman and the Redskins are comfortable with each other, Donovan McNabb is on his way out, and John Beck is the current answer at starting quarterback. We’re not hating on Beck, but if it comes down to Beck and Grossman for the gig, we’re taking Grossman. He wasn’t terrible in a few spot starts to end the year, and even had an elite four-touchdown performance. Bank on Grossman and Beck duking it out, with Grossman holding the edge with the potential for moderate fantasy numbers.
