Robert Griffin III Calms Concerns Over Height at Combine

As if NFL prospects weren’t scrutinized enough, the interest of Robert Griffin III‘s actual height had developed it’s own story-line leading into the 2012 NFL Combine.
Draft gurus everywhere were expressing real concern that RG3 could be shorter than he previously listed 6’2” height. And among those gurus speculating over RG3′s size, many of them feared a small stature would not only hurt his pro prospects, but it could actually even possibly affect his draft status.
Well, fear no more. Robert Griffin III wiped away all concerns over the legitimacy of his size by measuring over 6’2” (6’2” and 3/8, to be exact).
In other words, team scouts and GM’s can now quit sweating over his size and start figuring out if RG3′s college accuracy and ability to read defenses will translate successfully to the next level.
We already knew he had elite athleticism and could sling the ball. Now we know he has adequate height for the position, too.
