San Francisco 49ers Sign Randy Moss

According to ESPN‘s Adam Schefter on Twitter, the San Francisco 49ers have reached an agreement on a one-year deal with veteran wide receiver Randy Moss.

Financial terms of the contract are not yet available.

Moss, 35, retired prior to last season after reportedly receiving very little interest on the open market.

He’s been one of the league’s most productive receivers over the course of his 13-year career. He last played during the 2010 season for the Patriots, Vikings and Titans.

His best statistical season came in 2007 during his career renaissance with the Patriots, amassing nearly 1,500 yards with 23 touchdowns.

If Moss has anything left in the tank, he instantly adds credibility to a San Francisco passing attack that doesn’t have many threats outside of tight end Vernon Davis.
