St. Louis Rams Add Cadillac Williams

Former Offensive Rookie of the Year Carnell “Cadillac” Williams has found a new home.
The St. Louis Rams have signed the former Auburn Tiger to a one-year deal on Wednesday.
Williams rushed for 1,178 yards as a rookie after being drafted fifth overall in 2005, but his career since then has been greatly hindered by injuries.
He’s played all 16 games in each of the last two seasons, but his role had been severely downgraded in Tampa. He lost his job to rookie LeGarrette Blount last season, and was primarily used as a third down back.
Williams will likely serve as the primary backup to Steven Jackson, even with the Rams having already added Jerious Norwood earlier in the week.
His rushing totals were limited in 2010, but he proved to be a useful receiver out of the backfield, as he caught a career-high 46 passes for 355 yards.
Fantasy Analysis
Unless Steven Jackson gets hurt, Williams has very little fantasy value. Ignore.
