Teams Taking Jarvis Jones Off Draft Boards?

The once promising stock of pass-rushing specialist Jarvis Jones appears to be dimming. According to ProFootballTalk.com, Jones’ neck issue is causing several NFL teams to take him off their boards completely as they prepare for the 2013 NFL Draft.
It’s been widely known now that Jones initially left USC dude to a spinal stenosis diagnosis, but after playing (and looking very good) at Georgia, there seems to be a mixed review on his prospects as a pro football player.
Long term, it looks like Jones could be a very risk buy in the first round, especially in the top five picks, where he was initially projected to go. Per this latest report, it sounds like there’s a good chance Jones will slip out of the top five, while exiting the first round altogether may not be too crazy of a notion.
I still believe he’s much too talented to slip out of the first round of the draft, but a free fall into the 20′s isn’t unrealistic anymore.
