Vikings Rumors: “No Doubt” Adrian Peterson Plays in Week 6?

Minnesota Vikings

Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson was a bit iffy earlier in the week due to an ankle injury that hampered him at the end of his week five contest. However, according to ESPN 1500 Twin Cities, there is “no doubt” he will start against the Washington Redskins this Sunday.

Over nine months after tearing his acl against the very same opponent he faces this week, Peterson looks to be set on playing, and likely playing well. Look for a full workload for Peterson, who has piled on 420 rushing yards and two scores in 2012, but has yet to score a touchdown since getting both scores in his season debut.

Fantasy Analysis

Looks like Toby Gerhart owners can bank on another week of bench city. Peterson probably isn’t quite 100%, but his knee gets healthier every week and the Redskins are a nice matchup. Look for close to 100 yards and his first touchdown since the opener.
