Week 13 Fantasy Football Player Matchups

Miami Dolphins

There’s nothing like a little Thanksgiving football, and we’ll have to wait another year to see more. The Harbaugh Bowl ended Thursday night with a heartbreaking loss for rookie Head Coach Jim Harbaugh.

The Browns and Bengals went at it in an AFC North battle that saw the Browns blow a late lead. Finally, the Colts nearly pulled out their first victory, but the Panthers had ideas of breaking their road game curse by taking them out.

Here are the Weekly Fantasy Play Matchups for Week 13 in fantasy football.

Philadelphia Eagles  @ Seattle Seahawks

Eagles Fantasy Options

QB Michael Vick – Vick (ribs) was inactive in Week 12. I’m not expecting him back this Thursday, although it’s not out of the question. ★

QB Vince Young – Young threw for 400 yards against the Patriots. He could have a respectable game against Seattle. ★★★

RB LeSean McCoy – McCoy has taken a step back without Vick in, but he did get a score in Week 12. ★★★★★

WR DeSean Jackson – Jackson has been dropping passes left and right, and was bench late in Week 12. He’s a risky WR2. ★★★

WR Jeremy Maclin – Maclin (hamstring, shoulder) will likely miss Thursday’s match-up. ★

WR Jason Avant- Avant was huge in Week 12, and with Maclin out, could have a Flex worthy game. ★★★

WR Riley Cooper – Cooper should continue to see solid targets. Good PPR Flex. ★★★

TE Brent Celek – Celek is back to fringe TE1 status. ★★★★

K Alex Henery – Henery is an above average fantasy option.  ★★★

Eagles Team Defense – I’ll take a flier this week against the Seahawks, although it’s risky the way Lynch has been running. ★★★

Seahawks Fantasy Options

QB Tarvaris Jackson – Jackson won’t have a great week, but he’s a QB2. ★★★

RB Marshawn Lynch – Lynch won’t stop scoring. Get him in. ★★★★

RB Justin Forsett – Forsett will spell Lynch every now and then, but that’s about it. ★

WR Sidney Rice – Rice suffered another head injury. I’m not confident he will play this week. ★★

WR Mike Williams – Williams (shoulder) has been ailing. With Rice likely out, he could see more targets, but isn’t trustworthy. ★★

WR Doug Baldwin – Baldwin (shoulder) is making plays despite ailing. Get him in this week in the Flex. ★★★

TE Zach Miller – Miller has tons of ability, but isn’t seeing the targets. ★

K Steven Hauschka – Hauschka hasn’t been too bad. ★★★

Seahawks Team Defense – I’ll pass this week.  ★★★

Oakland Raiders  Miami Dolphins

Raiders Fantasy Options

QB Carson Palmer – Palmer has a nice match-up here. Solid QB2. ★★★

RB Darren McFadden – McFadden (foot) could play, but isn’t a safe bet to start or get many (if any) carries. ★

RB Michael Bush – Get Bush in so long as he is the starter with McFadden out. ★★★★

RB Taiwan Jones – Jones (hamstring) likely won’t be cutting into Bush’s carries. ★★

WR Denarius Moore – Moore (ankle) may not play for second straight week. ★

WR Jacoby Ford – Ford (foot) will likely practice, but don’t expect him to play in Week 13. ★

WR Darrius Heyward-Bey -  DHB will likely get the start with Ford and Moore ailing. Decent Flex risk. ★★★

WR Chaz Schilens – Schilens will likely get the Flanker role and could make a few solid catches. I’ll pass overall, however. ★★

TE Kevin Boss – Boss is a poor fantasy option. ★

K Sebastian Janikowski – Janikowski is a solid play in any week. ★★★★

Raiders Team Defense – Matt Moore has shown ability to put up points. Risky start here. ★★★

Dolphins Fantasy Options

QB Matt Moore – Moore has been a solid QB2 recently. This week is no different. ★★★

RB Reggie Bush – Bush should stay in your Flex. He’s been a solid play for the last few weeks. ★★★★

RB Daniel Thomas – Thomas will get solid touches, but is a risky Flex. ★★★

WR Brandon Marshall – I’m still keeping Marshall in my Flex weekly at the least. ★★★★

WR Davone Bess – Only a marginally decent PPR start weekly. ★★★

WR Brian Hartline – Hartline has a solid seven points against Dallas, but don’t get used to that production. ★★

TE Anthony Fasano – Fasano is a TE2 in all formats. ★★

K Shayne Graham – Graham will fill in for the ailing Carpenter (groin). ★★★

Dolphins Team Defense – Miami will need a bit of defensive magic to shut down Michael Bush and Carson Palmer. I’ll pass. ★★

Key Note – Chad Henne out for season (shoulder)

Atlanta Falcons  Houston Texans

Falcons Fantasy Options

QB Matt Ryan – Ryan has a tougher match-up this week, and is a fringe QB1 here. ★★★

RB Michael Turner – Turner was held to just his second single digit performance of the season. Look for a decent rebound. ★★★★

RB Jacquizz Rodgers- Rodgers could sneak a few plays in on third downs, but likely won’t have much fantasy value just yet. ★

WR Roddy White – White is proving that Jones’ addition has hurt him with another strong performance this week. Get him back in. ★★★★

WR Julio Jones – Jones (hamstring) failed to see a catch in Week 12. Look for that to change this week. ★★★

WR Harry Douglas – Douglas should be a solid PPR Flex this week even if Jones comes back. ★★★

TE Tony Gonzalez – Gonzo is a solid play going forward. ★★★

K Matt Bryant – Bryant should get plenty of XP opportunities at the least. Solid play. ★★★★

Falcons Team Defense – The good news is that they face T.J. Yates. The bad news is that they face Arian Foster. ★★★★

Texans Fantasy Options

QB T.J. Yates – Yates has a lot of work to do before he becomes a legit fantasy option. I’ll pass on the rookie. ★★

RB Arian Foster – Foster makes plays week in and week out. No reason not to start him. ★★★★★

RB Ben Tate – Tate is still finding carries and is a Flex in standard leagues. ★★★

WR Andre Johnson – AJ80 may not have a good finish to the year with Yates at the helm. ★★★

WR Kevin Walter – Walter can likely be sat with AJ80 back. ★★★

WR Jacoby Jones – Jones will make a play here and there, but lacks consistency. ★★

TE Owen Daniels – He’s not at elite TE status, but he’s still making plays to be your TE1. ★★★

TE Joel Dreessen – He’s a risky TE2. ★★★

K Neil Rackers – Rackers is a very reliable kicker and usually gets double digits. ★★★★

Texans Team Defense – Tough match-up here against an offense that can put up big numbers. ★★★★

Key Note – Matt Leinart (collarbone) and Matt Schaub (foot) placed on IR.

Cincinnati Bengals  Pittsburgh Steelers

Bengals Fantasy Options

QB Andy Dalton -Dalton is producing as a QB2. Get him in. ★★★

RB Cedric Benson – Benson doesn’t have as nice a match-up as he did against Cleveland. Flex at the most here. ★★★

RB Bernard Scott – Handcuff alert. ★★

WR A.J. Green – Green beat Joe Haden consistently in Week 12. I like the start here.  ★★★★

WR Jerome Simpson – Simpson is due for a decline with Green back. I’ll pass. ★★

WR Andre Caldwell – Caldwell is a deep Flex at the most. ★★★

WR Andrew Hawkins – Hawkins value takes a hit with Green back. ★★

TE Jermaine Gresham – Gresham is a nice play weekly. ★★★

K Mike Nugent – Nugent should be a solid play most weeks. ★★★★

Bengals Team Defense – This isn’t a bad start against a Pittsburgh offense that was held to 13 points by Kansas City. ★★★★

Injury Note: Jordan Shipley placed on IR (ACL)

Steelers Fantasy Options

QB Ben Roethlisberger -Big Ben struggled against Kansas City. He could have another rough week here. ★★★

RB Rashard Mendenhall – Mendenhall has been quite disappointing this year. Look for him to be shut down here. ★★★

RB Isaac Redman – Redman won’t see enough carries to play. ★

WR Mike Wallace – Wallace is a legit WR1. Get him in weekly. ★★★★★

WR Hines Ward – Ward is just about the 4th string WR on Pitt’s squad. Pass. ★★

WR Antonio Brown – Brown should be in your Flex. He’s getting more involved in the offense. ★★★

WR Emmanuel Sanders – Sanders (knee) is back in action. Look for him to have a few plays, but nothing spectacular. ★★

TE Heath Miller – Miller was hot for a few weeks and has cooled off in the last two. Decent TE2. ★★★

K Shaun Suisham – Suisham has been quite solid lately. ★★★

Steelers Team Defense – Questionable start here against an offense that has shown an ability to put up points. ★★★

Kansas City Chiefs  Chicago Bears

Chiefs Fantasy Options

QB Tyler Palko – No thanks. ★★

QB Kyle Orton – Orton likely won’t start this week against his former team, but he could get reps. ★★

RB Thomas Jones – Jones just doesn’t have much fantasy value. ★★

RB/WR Dexter McCluster – He’s getting the touches, but isn’t producing much. ★★

RB Jackie Battle – Battle will get stuffed this week… again. ★★

WR Dwayne Bowe -  Bowe’s value takes a bit hit without a real QB. Flex at the most. ★★★

WR Steve Breaston – Breaston takes a hit with Palko in. Steer clear for now. ★★

WR Jonathan Baldwin – Baldwin could make plays, but doesn’t have a real quarterback throwing the football. Pass. ★★

TE Leonard Pope – I’ll pass on Pope who’s just not a fantasy TE. ★

K Ryan Succop – Succop has only had two above average weeks. ★★

Chiefs Team Defense – Not a bad start this week against Caleb Hanie, despite Hanie having a decent game in Week 12. ★★★★

Injury Note: Jamaal Charles is out for the season (ACL), Matt Cassel (hand) is out for the season.

Bears Fantasy Options

QB Jay Cutler – Cutler (thumb) is likely out for the next 5-7 weeks, if not longer. ★

QB Caleb Hanie – Hanie was actually productive, despite the three interceptions. There are worse options. ★★★

RB Matt Forte – Forte will make plays week in and week out. ★★★★★

WR Roy Williams – Williams is just not worth starting this week, or most for that matter as he doesn’t see many targets. ★★

WR Johnny Knox – Knox has big play ability and has shown it in the last two weeks. ★★★

WR Earl Bennett – Bennett’s value takes a hit with Hanie in. ★★

WR Devin Hester – Hester wasn’t even targeted in Week 12. ★★★

TE Kellen Davis – Davis is hit or miss in the end zone. I’ll pass overall. ★★

K Robbie Gould – Gould is still a solid fantasy kicker. ★★★★

Bears Team Defense – This defense should be great against Tyler Palko. ★★★★

Denver Broncos  Minnesota Vikings

Broncos Fantasy Options

QB Tim Tebow – Timmy Teebs has been making plays. He’s going to get yardage on the ground at least. Solid QB2. ★★★

RB Willis McGahee – McGahee is an excellent start this week against Minnesota. ★★★★

RB Lance Ball – Ball has some value being that he’s #2. ★★★

WR Eric Decker – Decker can still make plays and will likely be the best target for Tebow to make plays with. ★★★

WR Eddie Royal – Royal has Flex ability, but he’s hit or miss. ★★

TE Daniel Fells – Fells has very little. ★

K Matt Prater – Prater has quietly been consistent. There are worse options. ★★★

Broncos Team Defense – This defense has been playing very well recently. Not a terrible start. ★★★

Vikings Fantasy Options

QB Christian Ponder – Ponder has been producing moderately well. QB2 for sure. ★★★

RB Adrian Peterson – Peterson (ankle) is likely to sit for at least one more week.  ★

RB Toby Gerhart – Gerhart is a solid addition this week. Flex play at the least. ★★★

WR Percy Harvin – Harvin is a decent Flex option in most leagues. ★★★

WR Michael Jenkins – Jenkins has some upside, but hasn’t had a ton of opportunities from Ponder. ★★

TE Visanthe Shiancoe – Shiancoe’s three targets per game aren’t doing much for fantasy owners. ★★

TE Kyle Rudolph – Rudolph should see an increase in targets. But he’s not worth fantasy. ★★

K Ryan Longwell – Longwell gets a good amount of field goal opportunities since the Vikes can’t score in the red zone. ★★★★

Vikings Team Defense – I wouldn’t trust this defense against anybody. ★★

Tennessee Titans  Buffalo Bills

Titans Fantasy Options

QB Matt Hasselbeck – Hasselbeck should have a good week against a defense that gave up four Mark Sanchez touchdowns. ★★★★

RB Chris Johnson – Johnson was huge in Week 12, and should have  big impact in Week 13 as well. ★★★★

RB Javon Ringer – Ringer may see a carry or two, but he’s unlikely to put up fantasy worthy numbers. ★★

WR Nate Washington – Washington lacks consistency, but this isn’t a bad match-up for him. ★★★

WR Damian Williams – Williams is looking like a solid Flex option. ★★★

WR Lavelle Hawkins – Hawkins will see the targets. He’s a PPR Flex option in deeper leagues. ★★

TE Jared Cook – Cook is a solid TE2. ★★★

K Rob Bironas – Bironas continues to be a nicefantasy TE. ★★★

Titans Team Defense – Sleeper defense for the second straight week. I’ll pass unless you are hard pressed, however. ★★★

Injury Note – Kenny Britt is out for the season (ACL)

Bills Fantasy Options

QB Ryan Fitzpatrick – Fitzpatrick had his first nice game since the contract extension. Look for him to have a decent game. ★★★★

RB C.J. Spiller – Spiller likely won’t do much this week, but the potential is there. ★★★

RB Tashard Choice – Choice had -8 yards on the ground. No thanks. ★★

WR Stevie Johnson – Steve had a nice week against a great Jets secondary. He could be solid this week. ★★★

WR David Nelson – Nelson is a solid Flex most weeks, this one included. ★★★

WR Brad Smith – Smith came out of nowhere to score a touchdown. Watch him as he could start producing as a Flex. ★★

TE Scott Chandler – Chandler is hit or miss in the red zone. If you can spare the point loss, take the risk on him getting a score. ★★★

K Dave Rayner – Rayner will likely get the nod again for Lindell. ★★

Buffalo Defense – No reason to trust this defense. ★★★

New York Jets  Washington Redskins

Jets Fantasy Options

QB Mark Sanchez – Sanchez won’t go off for four touchdowns this week. ★★★

RB Shonn Greene – Greene is a Flex risk weekly. Don’t expect big numbers. ★★★

RB LaDainian Tomlinson – LT (Knee) should be back this week. Don’t expect much out of him.  ★★

RB Joe McKnight – McKnight’s value is only there when LT and/or Greene go down. ★★

WR Santonio Holmes – Holmes is still a solid Flex and should make a few plays in the red zone. ★★★

WR Plaxico Burress – Burress won’t put up yards, so he’s a risky play that can get into the end zone. ★★★

WR Jeremy Kerley – Kerley (knee) could sit out again. ★★

WR Patrick Turner – Turner only has very miniscule deep league Flex value so long as Kerley sits. ★★

TE Dustin Keller – Keller had a bit Week 12. Don’t expect much more going forward. ★★★

K Nick Folk – Folk is an above average fantasy kicker. ★★★

Jets Team Defense – Great week here to start this defense. ★★★★

Redskins Fantasy Options

QB Rex Grossman – Grossman is actually putting up respectable numbers. Don’t expect that this week, however. ★★★

RB Roy Helu – Helu had a huge day in Week 12. He’s a decent Flex most weeks. ★★★

RB Ryan Torain – Torain failed to record a touch in Week 12. I’ll pass. ★★

WR Santana Moss – Moss got back in the lineup. Poor week to start him, but it’s nice to see him back. ★★★

WR Jabar Gaffney – Gaffney is worth a Flex look with the amount of targets he gets. ★★★

WR Anthony Armstrong – Armstrong will get a few targets here and there. Don’t expect much, however. ★★

TE Fred Davis – Davis should see a good amount of targets and is a low end TE1.  ★★★★

K Graham Gano – Gano has been a decent fantasy option. ★★★

Redskins Team Defense – The match-up could be worse against an offense that doesn’t have much firepower. ★★★

Key note – Tim Hightower out for season (ACL), Leonard Hankerson out for season (hip)

Indianapolis Colts  @ New England Patriots

Colts Fantasy Options

QB Peyton Manning – Peyton (neck) will be out, but could see playing time in small doses later in the season. OUT

QB Curtis Painter – Honestly, this defense can be thrown on. Painter could have a decent day in the air, just don’t expect a touchdown fest. ★★★

RB Joseph Addai – Addai is back, but Donald Brown is seeing a good amount of carries. I’ll pass. ★★

RB Delone Carter – Carter seems to be losing carries to Donald Brown, and I’ll pass. ★★

RB Donald Brown – Brown is a decent Flex option this week. He could get a solid amount of yardage against this defense. ★★★

WR Reggie Wayne – Wayne is a risky Flex in every week that Peyton Manning doesn’t start. ★★★

WR Austin Collie – Collie has seen a few receptions lately, but just isn’t worth a start. ★★

WR Pierre Garcon – Garcon actually could have a solid week, but he’s not worth the risk. ★★★

TE Dallas Clark – Clark (leg) could miss another week. Regardless, I’ll pass. ★★

TE Jacob Tamme – If Clark can’t go, Tamme will. Tamme is a sleeper TE2. ★★★

K Adam Vinatieri – Vinatieri is above average. ★★★

Colts Team Defense – No. Way. ★

Patriots Fantasy Options

QB Tom Brady – He will put up QB1 numbers again this week. ★★★★★

RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis – Look for a solid game from The Law Firm, here. ★★★

RB Kevin Faulk – Don’t look too much into Faulk’s playing time. But I’d steer clear of Pats backs outside of The Law Firm. ★★

WR Wes Welker – Welker rebounded quite well. Look for big numbers again. ★★★★★

WR Deion Branch – Branch is generally a solid Flex play on a weekly basis. ★★★

TE Rob Gronkowski – Gronk is a must start. His red zone ability is exceptional. ★★★★★

TE Aaron Hernandez – Hernandez is a stud and should be in your lineup. ★★★★

K Stephen Gostkowski – Gostkowski should continue to get good opportunities. ★★★★

Patriots Team Defense – Not a bad week to start this defense. ★★★★

Carolina Panthers 2011 NFL Draft Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Panthers Fantasy Options

QB Cam Newton – Newton seems to be slowing down just a bit. I still expect a big performance.  ★★★★

RB DeAngelo Williams – Williams should have a decent game, but don’t expect huge numbers. ★★★

RB Jonathan Stewart – Stewart should have a decent game here. Flex. ★★★

WR Steve Smith – Smith is still a stud this season. WR2 is more appropriate. ★★★★

WR Brandon LaFell – LaFell could be Flex worthy, but there are better options. ★★★

WR Legedu Naanee – Naanee is a potential PPR Flex in deep leagues at the very most. ★★

TE Greg Olsen – Olsen is a fringe TE1 this week. ★★★

TE Jeremy Shockey – Shockey is back. Look for decent TE2 numbers. ★★★

K Olindo Mare – Mare is a decent fantasy kicker overall and the Panthers can put up points. ★★★

Panthers Team Defense – I’ll pass on this defense weekly. ★★

Buccaneers Fantasy Options

QB Josh Freeman – Great week to start Freeman here. ★★★★

RB LeGarrette Blount – Blount is a surefire RB2 this week against a lowly Panthers run defense. ★★★★

RB Kregg Lumpkin – Lumpkin will see a carry or two here and there, but don’t invest unless Blount it out. ★★

WR Mike Williams – Williams isn’t consistent, but he could be a nice play here. ★★★

WR Arrelious Benn – Benn’s inconsistency kills him, but he does have play making ability. ★★

WR Dezmon Briscoe – Briscoe failed to record a reception in Week 12. ★★

WR Preston Parker- Parker went without a catch on three targets in Week 12. ★★

TE Kellen Winslow – Winslow is a mid-grade TE2. ★★★

K Connor Barth – Barth is an above average option. ★★★★

Buccaneers Team Defense – I’ll pass against a Carolina offense capable of putting up big points. ★★

Baltimore Ravens  Cleveland Browns

Ravens Fantasy Options

QB Joe Flacco – Flacco has a decent match-up here. Inconsistency hurts him, however. ★★★

RB Ray Rice – Rice hasn’t been rushing for big yardage, but he’s been scoring. Keep him in. ★★★★

WR Anquan Boldin – Boldin won’t put up big numbers, but he can produce enough for your Flex. ★★★

WR Torrey Smith – Smith’s big play ability makes him a worthy Flex weekly. ★★★

TE Ed Dickson – Dickson’s inconsistency has been frustrating for fantasy owners. ★★★

TE Dennis Pitta – Pitta will see receptions here and there, but Dickson is the TE to own. ★★

K Billy Cundiff – Cundiff has been exceptional and should be played. ★★★★

Ravens Team Defense – Great start here against an offense that struggles to produce. ★★★★

Browns Fantasy Options

QB Colt McCoy – No reason to start McCoy here. He just has no wide receivers. ★★

RB Peyton Hillis – Hillis came back in Week 12, surprisingly. Look for him to be a risky Flex. ★★★

RB Montario Hardesty – Hardesty (calf) will likely get back in. I’ll pass, however. ★★

RB Chris Ogbonnaya – With Hillis back, he’s not likely to score. ★★

WR Greg Little – He’s getting hardcore targets, but drops are hurting you. ★★★

WR Mohamed Massaquoi – Mass isn’t a reliable fantasy option. ★★

WR Josh Cribbs – Cribbs has very little fantasy value outside of return yardage leagues. ★★

TE Benjamin Watson – Watson hasn’t produced since Week 4. ★★

K Phil Dawson – Dawson has been missing a lot of field goals lately. I’ll pass. ★★★

Browns Team Defense – No thanks with injuries hurting these guys. ★★

Dallas Cowboys  Arizona Cardinals

Cowboys Fantasy Options

QB Tony Romo – Look for Romo to keep putting up QB1 numbers.  ★★★★

RB Felix Jones – Jones is back, but don’t expect big numbers from him as he’s playing second fiddle to Murray. ★★

RB DeMarco Murray – Murray is still putting up solid RB2 or Flex numbers. Keep plugging him in. ★★★★

WR Miles Austin – Austin (hamstring) likely won’t be back until Week 14 as the Cowboys shouldn’t need him for Miami and Arizona. No need to force him back. ★

WR Dez Bryant – Start with confidence this week, especially with Austin out. ★★★★

WR Laurent Robinson – Robinson has been the play maker for Dallas recently. He’s a Flex, easily. ★★★

TE Jason Witten – Witten will get many targets. He’s a weekly no-brainer. ★★★★

K Dan Bailey – Bailey has been legit all season. ★★★★

Cowboys Team Defense – The Cowboys have a solid start here even if Kolb is back. ★★★

Cardinals Fantasy Options

QB Kevin Kolb – Kolb (toe) seems likely to play, which is good with the way that Skelton has played. ★★★

QB John Skelton – Skelton likely will sit with Kolb back. No thanks. ★

RB Chris “Beanie” Wells – Wells went off big time against St. Louis. Look for a decent week against Dallas. ★★★

WR Larry Fitzgerald – Fitzgerald should still be plugged in. He’s putting up solid WR2 numbers. ★★★★

WR Early Doucet – Doucet is producing as a decent Flex, and should continue to be decent despite QB issues. ★★★

TE Todd Heap – Heap (hamstring) shouldn’t be owned until he’s 100%. ★

TE Jeff King – King will make a few grabs, but he’s lucky if he’s a TE2. ★★

K Jay Feely – Feely hasn’t been producing much. There are better options. ★★

Cardinals Team Defense – I’ll pass here against a high powered Cowboys offense. ★★

Green Bay Packers  New York Giants

Packers Fantasy Options

QB Aaron Rodgers – Rodgers is a must start weekly. ★★★★★

RB Ryan Grant – Grant isn’t a reliable back. Flex if you’re desperate. ★★

RB James Starks – Starks is a desperate deep league Flex. ★★

WR Greg Jennings – Jennings should continue to be your WR1. ★★★★★

WR Jordy Nelson – Nelson is a must-play weekly and will rebound this week. ★★★★★

WR James Jones – Jones had a nice Thanksgiving day game. Don’t expect this weekly, however. ★★★

WR Randall Cobb – Cobb has return upside, and some deep league Flex value. ★★

TE Jermichael Finley – He’s only been above average recently. He’s still tough to pass up on. ★★★★

K Mason Crosby – Crosby is going to get a ton of XP opportunities and is usually money. ★★★★★

Packers Team Defense – This defense is more of a bend but don’t break. Decent start if they can get to Eli. ★★★

Giants Fantasy Options

QB Eli Manning – Eli should be able to produce as a low end QB1. ★★★★

RB Ahmad Bradshaw – Bradshaw isn’t guaranteed back. I’ll pass unless he’s 100%. ★

RB Brandon Jacobs – Jacobs just hasn’t been producing, but the match-up could be worse. ★★★

WR Hakeem Nicks – Nicks should be in your lineup weekly. ★★★★

WR Mario Manningham – Manningham (knee) should be back here after sitting out on MNF. ★★★

WR Victor Cruz – Cruz continues to make plays, and should be able to keep it up. ★★★

TE Jake Ballard – Ballard is a TE2 going forward. ★★★

K Lawrence Tynes – Tynes is a solid kicker overall, and gets a good amount of XP opps. ★★★

Giants Team Defense – No thanks against a high-powered Green Bay offense. ★★★

St. Louis Rams  San Francisco 49ers

St. Louis Rams Fantasy Options

QB Sam Bradford – Bradford has the talent, but this isn’t the week for him to have a big game. ★★★

RB Steven Jackson – Jackson could struggle against the #1 run defense. ★★★

WR Brandon Lloyd – Lloyd is making solid plays, and should be in your Flex at the least. ★★★

WR Brandon Gibson – Gibson won’t make enough plays to have an impact. ★★

WR Danario Alexander – Alexander (hamstring) could be a scratch for Week 13. ★★

WR Austin Pettis – Pettis (knee) likely won’t be 100%. ★★

TE Lance Kendricks – Kendricks (foot) may be limited this week. We’ll pass. ★★

K Josh Brown – Brown isn’t a good choice here with the Rams likely to get shut down. ★★★

Rams Team Defense – Not that Alex Smith is anything special, but I’ll pass. ★★★

Key note – WR Greg Salas is out for the season (broken leg)

49ers Fantasy Options

QB Alex Smith – Smith could have a semi-productive week against this secondary. ★★★

RB Frank Gore – Gore should go off against this poor Rams run defense. ★★★★

RB Kendall Hunter – Hunter’s value is only really there if Gore actually sits. I’ll pass. ★★

WR Braylon Edwards – Four targets against Arizona and zero catches. I’ll pass. ★★

WR Michael Crabtree – Crabtree should have a Flex worthy game here. ★★★

TE Vernon Davis – Davis’ value has been up and down. He’s worth the risk this week, however. ★★★

TE Delanie Walker – He’s too inconsistent to trust. One game he will catch four or five passes, and the next it’ll be nothing. ★★

K David Akers – Akers is one of the best fantasy kickers. ★★★★

49ers Team Defense – No brainer this week against Sam Bradford and the Rams. ★★★★

Key note – Josh Morgan is out for the season. (Leg)

Detroit Lions  @ New Orleans Saints

Lions Fantasy Options

QB Matthew Stafford – Stafford should get back on track this week. ★★★★

RB Maurice Morris – Morris should make a few plays out of the back field. There are worse options. ★★★

RB Kevin Smith – Smith (ankle) should play against the Saints. Could be a decent Flex, but I’m not risking it. ★★★

WR Calvin Johnson – He’s a weekly no-brainer. ★★★★★

WR Nate Burleson – Burleson is a decent Flex, and should be a solid play here. ★★★

WR Titus Young – He’s looking like a solid PPR Flex. ★★★

TE Brandon Pettigrew – Pettigrew should be a fringe TE1 this week.  ★★★★

TE Tony Scheffler – Scheffler is an inconsistent touchdown play. Be cautious. ★★

K Jason Hanson – Hanson has been money so far in 2011. ★★★★

Lions Team Defense – I’ll pass against Brees this week, especially if Suh ends up suspended. ★★

Key Note – Jahvid Best (concussion) has been placed on IR.

Saints Fantasy Options

QB Drew Brees – Brees should continue to put up big numbers, even with the Giants getting some injured players back. ★★★★★

RB Darren Sproles – Sproles is a solid bet to get early double digits here. ★★★

RB Mark Ingram – Ingram is good to go, but his value is barely Flex worthy. ★★★

RB Pierre Thomas – With Ingram back, Thomas is reduced to a very deep league Flex. ★★

WR Marques Colston – Colston should be your WR2 most weeks. ★★★★

WR Lance Moore – He’s inconsistent, but he can see red zone scores randomly. Risky Flex. ★★★

WR Robert Meachem – Meachem is a risky play with the inconsistent targets. ★★★

WR Devery Henderson – Henderson hasn’t produced consistently all season. ★★

TE Jimmy Graham – No reason to sit Graham. He’s exceptional. ★★★★★

K John Kasay – Kasay is getting a ton of XP opportunities and NO is generally in range. ★★★★

Saints Team Defense – The inconsistency and injuries make them a risky play. ★★★

San Diego Chargers  @ Jacksonville Jaguars

Chargers Fantasy Options

QB Philip Rivers – Rivers just isn’t getting it done in 2011. The match-up isn’t bad, however. ★★★

RB Mike Tolbert – Tolbert still has goal line value, but it’s not consistent. ★★★

RB Ryan Mathews – Mathews still can make plays. I like him as a RB2 here. ★★★★

WR Vincent Jackson – Jackson isn’t consistent, but he has a nice match-up. Risky play that is hard to sit. ★★★★

WR Malcom Floyd – Floyd (hip) isn’t a good bed to play here. ★

WR Patrick Crayton – Crayton won’t see as many targets with Vincent Brown getting PT and playing well. ★★

WR Vincent Brown – Brown has nice value and good RAC ability. Solid PPR Flex. ★★★

TE Antonio Gates – Gates is as healthy as he can be, and producing well. ★★★★

K Nick Novak – Novak remains a solid option. ★★★★

Chargers Team Defense – This match-up is great, despite their struggles. ★★★★

Jaguars Fantasy Options

QB Blaine Gabbert – Gabbert was benched at one point for Luke McCown. I’ll pass in any week. ★★

RB Maurice Jones -Drew – MJD is still worth a RB2/Flex this week. ★★★★

RB Deji Karim – Karim is a decent handcuff option, but that’s all for now. ★

WR Mike Thomas – Thomas just shouldn’t be started with his QB situation struggling. ★★

WR Jason Hill – Hill has the ability, but his QB is really playing poorly. ★★

TE Marcedes Lewis – Lewis had another decent game. Could be a TE2 going forward. ★★★

K Josh Scobee – Scobee has been surprisingly solid recently. ★★★

Jaguars Team Defense – No thanks this week, even with Rivers struggling. ★★

Be sure to check back all week for player updates as injuries and roles change, and come back again next week for more fantasy player matchup breakdowns!
