Week 15 Fantasy Football Start and Sit Advice

Oakland Raiders

Can you trust Carson Palmer in the fantasy playoffs?

There’s no doubt the trash talking has tripled over the past week in your fantasy football league. It’s playoff time and a year of bragging rights is on the line….and maybe even some sweet cash! As we all know, we can earn that cold, hard cash via fantasy football, or we can do it via Vegas by betting who will get to and/or win the Super Bowl. Read more information to bet on super bowl 2013 here. And for some advice in the fantasy realm, read on below:

START

QB, Jake Locker, Tennessee Titans

The Titans offense has been throwing a ton. And they’ve also been behind most of the season and abandoning the run. Locker has been pretty decent when he gets to sling it around and you have to like a guy who will have a lot of attempts. Monday night against the Jets could be a shoot-out. 301 passing, 2 TD’s

QB, Carson Palmer, Oakland Raiders

The Raiders are a bunch of misfits but they do have Kansas City on the slate this week. The mood in KC is still bleak just like their defense. Palmer could be a nice fill-in…especially if you have an injury at QB. 288 passing, 3 TD’s

RB, David Wilson, New York Giants

If..and I stress the IF…Ahmad Bradshaw doesn’t play then Wilson will get the touches. He was so explosive and could be the spark-plug the Giants need to get a late season run going. I love him as a flex option this week. 112 rushing, 4 receptions 45 yards, TD

RB, Knowshon Moreno, Denver Broncos

Denver is making trying to somehow get into that #2 seed slot. Manning has the Broncos all systems go and Moreno will get a ton of work against the reeling Baltimore defense. 94 yards, 2 TD’s, 3 receptions 32 yards

WR, Antonio Brown, Pittsburgh Steelers

With Brown and QB Ben Roethlisberger back Pittsburgh’s offense is potent again. Dallas’ defense will over-occupied with covering Mike Wallace to not get beat deep. Brown is very dangerous over the middle and he should get a lot of those looks. 7 receptions, 101 yards, TD

WR, Brian Hartline, Miami Dolphins

This is just a major hunch. Miami plays Jacksonville and I just have that feeling that Hartline is due for another big game. 8 receptions, 132 yards, 2 TD’s

TE, Martellus Bennett, New York Giants

Keeping Bennett in the starts again. He scored a TD again last week and has become a favorite target of Eli Manning as of late. Should be more of the same this week. 5 receptions, 88 yards, TD

SIT

QB, Tony Romo, Dallas Cowboys

Which Tony Romo will show up this week? Your guess is as good as mine and he faces one of the top pass defense in the league

RB, Frank Gore, San Francisco 49ers

I think New England knows that if they stop Gore they should dominate. It really is that simple for the Patriots.

RB, DeMarco Murray, Dallas Cowboys

I really think Dallas struggles in this game. Both are in the playoff hunt but Pittsburgh has the better defense. They will play the run very tight.

WR, Stevie Johnson, Buffalo Bills

Seattle is exceptional against the pass. I really don’t like QB Ryan Fitzpatrick in this game either. It’s just a really bad matchup for Buffalo

WR, Reggie Wayne, Indianapolis Colts

After the drubbing they took in New England, I think Houston is ready to play some dominant football. Against a hot Colts team, I think Houston doubles Wayne all game to take away Andrew Luck’s best receiver

TE, Jermichael Finley, Green Bay Packers

Tough matchup at Chicago this week. If he’s your only TE, I’d hit the waiver wire or go with your other option.
