Week 4 Fantasy Football Start and Sit Advice
Has anyone been able to make sense of the NFL season so far? Arizona is 3-0 and the Patriots are 1-2. Who saw that one coming? It’s been tough for the first three weeks to predict player production as well. I do my homework but haven’t been so perfect on my weekly tests. This week, however, will be different.
Here are you week 4 Start-Sits:
Joe Flacco, QB, Baltimore Ravens
Yeah! They’re playing Cleveland. Do I have to say anything else. Joe had a good game against the Patriots last week. I think he stays hot with 310 passing and 3 TD’s
Andy Dalton, QB, Cincinnati Bengals
Aside from an interception last week Dalton was hot. He had a fantastic week. He might just be heating up with confidence and rhythm. He’s at Jacksonville this week and this game could be a pass fest. I like Dalton for 315 passing and 2 TD’s.
Mikel LeShoure, RB, Detroit Lions
In his first game last week, LeShoure had 100 rushing and a TD. I think he keeps up the average since Minnesota has to play pass first every down. Look for LeShoure to get another 100 with a TD
Doug Martin, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Tampa has fought hard in every game. Martin has had opportunities. A slow week last week but I think he bounces back for a big effort against the redskins. I’m feeling 88 rushing, 5 receptions for 45 yards and a TD.
Brandon Stokley, WR, Denver Broncos
Stokley and Peyton Manning have found an old rhythm. These two could get dangerous. Stokley had a nice game against a a tough Houston defense last week. Oakland will be tough but Manning can carve em up. 6 receptions for 95 yards and a TD.
Randall Cobb, WR, Green Bay Packers
New Orleans has been really bad on defense. The Packers will probably get everyone involved in this game. I like Cobb for 4 receptions, 65 yards and a TD.
Jermaine Gresham, TE, Cincinnati Bengals
For the same reason I like Andy Dalton I have to think Gresham gets involved a lot. A.J. Green gets most of the attention so single coverage for the big TE Gresham. He gets 4 receptions, 48 yards and a TD.
Cam Newton, QB, Carolina Panthers
He had a rough week against the Giants on Thursday night and it won’t get any easier against the Falcons who made Peyton Manning look bad. I gotta stay away from Cam.
Tony Romo, QB, Dallas Cowboys
Managed just 283 passing and an interception against the Buccaneers. Can’t say that gives me confidence against Chicago.
Trent Richardson, RB, Cleveland Browns
Going against Baltimore’s D this week…enough said!
Frank Gore, RB, San Francisco 49ers
I have to think the Jets will concentrate on Gore heavily and make Alex Smith try to beat them. Hey, it worked for the Vikings last week.
Miles Austin, WR, Dallas Cowboys
So if I think Romo will have a tough game like I mentioned above, then why should I think any of his receivers will fare well? If a Dallas WR is going to have a game against the Bears I have to think its Dez Bryant.
Kenny Britt, WR, Tennessee Titans
Had 11 targets last week against the Lions but going against Houston this week. Houston’s defense looks so good right now and gets to the QB. That will limit Britt’s targets.
Tony Gonzalez, TE, Atlanta Falcons
This one is a complete guess but I think Michael Turner, Julio Jones, and Roddy White all have good games. There just aren’t enough targets left for Gonzalez.
